SomaChi Yoga and Pilates Studio offers a range of classes to suit all abilities and interests.
Detox: in a room heated to 26 degrees, this power flow class will cleanse, revitalize and enliven your body and mind. Note: during hot weather the room will not be artificially heated.
Open: ideal for all levels, this class will work on specific postures and yogic techniques to help you deepen your understanding of flow yoga.
Flow: this class concentrates on sequences that challenge coordination and breath control, while building internal heat so your body becomes more supple.
Athletic Flow: if you like to be challenged this class is for you! It’s a strong class that builds arm, leg and core strength along with flexibility and mobility.
Rejuvenate: a great class to help you release stress and develop greater concentration using traditional meditation and yogic techniques.
Open (C) = Community: Open for all Levels. Proceeds of this $10 class go directly to our chosen charity. Members are not required to make a donation.

Our signature yoga style was created by Lianne Metcalf, who is the founder of the SomaChi Studio. The yoga she developed is a unique form of vinyassa flow yoga. It mixes modern and strong movements with traditional hatha yoga postures. SomaChi yoga is also influenced by martial arts and tai chi. It is a dynamic, fluid practice that stills the busy mind and brings aliveness to the body.
SomaChi’s principles and sequences have been applied to different paced classes that cater for all levels. Whether you want a strong class or time to relax, we have the class for you! Look at our class descriptions for more details.
