
SomaChi Prenatal Yoga is designed to assist with pregnancy and childbirth. These classes are gentle and suitable for all stages of pregnancy. No prior yoga experience is necessary.
Classes are held once a week for a 4 week term. Expectant mothers are encouraged to attend as many terms as they wish. Bookings are essential (details below).
Our prenatal classes include a mixture of modified yoga postures, abdominal and pelvic floor toning, breath work, and relaxation. Yoga postures that relieve common pregnancy discomforts will also be covered.
Through prenatal yoga, you will improve your posture, stability, strength and balance, as well as develop a focused yet relaxed mind. Prenatal yoga will empower you to give birth as naturally and as actively as possible.
SomaChi Prenatal Classes are taught by Kaye Gries who has a special interest in helping expectant mothers draw upon yogic practices to deepen their bond with their unborn baby, and to empower them to have a physically and emotionally connected, strong and healthy pregnancy.
